Postpone v2024.8.2 released! X/Threads/Bluesky post time recommendations, subreddit moderator alerts, auto-threading, and lots of bug fixes!

Happy Monday, everyone! Today's update took an extra week to get out, just to make sure everything was nice and polished for you.

We have some big new features for our "threaded" platforms (X, Threads, and Bluesky), plus subreddit moderator alerts and improvements to submitting posts. And, of course, several bug fixes to keep things working smoothly.

New Features

• X, Threads, and Bluesky post time recommendations

  • Postpone will now display recommended post times when scheduling to X, Threads, and Bluesky.

  • Recommendations are based on your post engagement and the engagement of users in similar timezones.

  • To get started, simply pick the day you want to submit your Tweet, thread, or post, then click the sparkles button on the Time field. Select the time you would like your post to submit.

• Subreddit Moderators - Find, view, and set up alerts for subreddit moderators.

  • You can now view a subreddit's moderators in the Subreddit Manager.

  

  • Set up mod alerts to get notified when submitting to a subreddit with a specific moderator or mod bot.

  

  • Filter subreddits by moderator in the Subreddit Manager.

Improvements

• Made several improvements to submitting posts now on the Dashboard

  • A loading indicator is now displayed when posts are submitting.

  • Post actions buttons are disabled for posts that are submitting to avoid putting the post is a weird state.

  • An error message is now displayed when a post fails to submit.

• The new post scheduler now splits long-form text (like a long Instagram caption or Facebook post) into multiple Tweets, Threads posts, Bluesky posts, or Mastodon posts based on the platforms maximum post length.

• Updated Threads analytics to include all Threads posts, even those not submitted through Postpone.

• Improved the new user onboarding tour.

• Improved the design of the Pricing and Plans page.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug updating Facebook Posts that do not have any media.

• Fixed an issue where the default Reddit account would be incorrect after removing it from Postpone.

• Fixed an issue that could prevent large images from being submitted to Bluesky.

• Fixed an issue where Content Library media would not be un-selected after labeling it using either grid view.

• Fixed an issue where the Inbox could display posts from the wrong account.

• Fixed an issue syncing post threads between threaded platforms (X, Threads, Bluesky, or Mastodon).

• Fixed an issue where Fresh Links would not work with some RedGIFs links.

• Fixed an issue selecting the last social account when scheduling new posts for users with lots of accounts connected.
