Today we're excited to unveil Postpone's latest integration: Tumblr!

Tumblr is a microblogging platform where users can blog about their interests via text, images, quotes, links, music and videos. It has shown a ton of longevity and is still very popular with artists and content creators sharing their content on the internet.

If you'd like to see other social platforms come to Postpone then please fill out our 2024 Social Platforms survey. This will help us plan out what to build in 2024: https://forms.gle/yLrK85xxX9jtNsTc6

Our Tumblr integration has all of the great core features you're used to:

  1. Scheduler - Schedule your Tumblr posts with text, quotes, chats, links, images, and GIFs.

  2. Dashboard Calendar - Track your scheduled Tumblr posts alongside your other social media posts.

  3. Analytics - See how your Tumblr posts are performing and track your follower count over time.

  4. Tag Manager - Create and reuse sets of tags based on the posts you schedule.

  5. Custom Schedules - Give each Tumblr blog a schedule, then each time you schedule a post Postpone will automatically pick the next day/time slot.

Getting Started with Tumblr

Starting today you can connect your Tumblr blogs and schedule posts in Postpone.

To connect your Tumblr blog, head over to Settings > Connected Accounts > Tumblr and click the Connect a Tumblr Blog button. You'll be taken to Tumblr.com to log in, then redirected back to Postpone.

Now you're ready to schedule your Tumblr posts! Click the new Tumblr Create a Post button in the top-left corner to schedule your Tumblr posts. From there you can add text, choose images from the Content Library, or use the Tag Manager, then schedule your posts.

What's Next?

Today's update continues our quest to become the all-in-one social media scheduling, analytics, and engagement platform built for content creators.

For Tumblr we will continue building out core features, such as:

  1. Support for including video in posts.

  2. Better layout support.

  3. ...and lots more!

We'd love your feedback on our Tumblr integration, so don't hesitate to provide it using the chat in the bottom-right corner of every page.

Other Improvements

Today's update also includes a few other improvements and bug fixes:

  • The "per page" table setting on the History pages is now synced with the Dashboard tables.

  • Fixed an issue that caused TikTok image posts to fail with a picture_size_check_failed error.

  • Fixed an error that occurred when removing watermarks from images.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented setting default link flair on a submission that previously had a different subreddit set on it.
