New in Postpone: Post to X Communities, track mentions in Conversations, and more!
Happy Monday, everyone!
Today we're thrilled to announce official support for posting to Communities on X using Postpone.
According to X, "Communities were created to give people a dedicated place to connect, share, and get closer to the discussions they care about most."
In other words: they're sort of like subreddits, but on X instead of Reddit!
To discover new Communities, head to x.com then click the Communities tab. Most Communities require you to be a member before posting, so be sure to join or request to join before publishing.
Starting today, Postpone supports scheduling posts to Communities. Here's how you can get started:
Click New Post and select your X Account.
Change "Where would you like to post?" to "A Community"
Copy the Community URL from X and paste it into Postpone.
Note: After scheduling posts to a community for the first time, they will appear in the Recents list for quick selection.
Click Post to Community.
Schedule your post!
You can also schedule posts to X Communities using Postpone's Bulk Import feature for X. Simply download the latest CSV template, include the communities you would like to post to, then import the spreadsheet. Easy peasy!
Tracking Mentions in Conversations
At Postpone, we know how important it is to track mentions of your profile or brand across social media so that you can engage in those conversations. That's why we're expanding Conversations today to support mentions for two more platforms: LinkedIn (Pages) and Threads accounts.
Now any time another user mentions your LinkedIn Page or Threads account, you'll have the chance to respond directly from within Conversations in Postpone.
For Threads, please re-connect your account in Postpone to start tracking mentions in Conversations.
Other Improvements
Today's update includes several other improvements and bug fixes, such as...
Added LinkedIn mentions support to Conversations.
Added Threads mentions support to Conversations.
Postpone now includes LinkedIn posts submitted from outside of Postpone in Analytics.
Fixed an issue where custom proxies would incorrectly show as "disabled" when expanding to view proxy stats.
Fixed an issue where post validation errors may not be displayed while scheduling.
Fixed an issue that made it possible to create posts to X, Bluesky, and Threads without text or media.
Fixed an error scheduling LinkedIn posts where the link is invalid.
Fixed an issue where drag 'n' dropping multiple images on Bluesky posts would only set the first image on the post.
Fixed an issue where subreddit was not included in Top Posts CSV export.
Closing
That's it for today!
