New in Postpone: Introducing the Client Portal

DATE:
AUTHOR: Grant McConnaughey

Agencies on plans with client management (Professional and up) can now invite clients to a dedicated Client Portal — a simplified, restricted workspace separate from your agency account.

Client Portal Calendar

When clients log in, they're routed straight to their portal and can't access your agency workspace, your other clients, or any account that isn't assigned to them.

The Client Portal provides clients with access to 3 main features:

  1. A read-only Calendar showing scheduled and recent posts across the client's assigned accounts

  2. A Media page where clients can upload content for your team to use when scheduling (they only see their own uploads, not the rest of your library).

  3. An Accounts page where clients can connect or disconnect their own social accounts

To get started, head to Settings > Clients, find the client you want to invite, and click Invite.

We plan to add more Client Portal functionality over time, such as performance insights and client post reviews/approvals workflows.

New Support Chat (rolling out)

We are also rolling out our new support chat software. This provides several benefits over our old support chat software:

  1. Quicker Answers — Get immediate answers from the Postpone support assistant when our support team is not online. The assistant will help answer basic questions and collect information to ensure we can provide full help as soon as possible.

  2. Auto-Translate — Ask questions and get answers in your native language.

  3. Mobile App Support — Get support from the Postpone mobile app in addition to our website.

Users will transition to the new chat software over the coming weeks, beginning with users on the free tier and ultimately moving to users on all plans.
