Introducing Conversations: a new way to engage with your fans.

Today we are thrilled to announce a major new feature in Postpone: Conversations.

Conversations is your all new unified social media Inbox. With Conversations, you can view and reply to the comments on your posts and the private messages in your inboxes from a single location.

There are lots of great things you can do with Conversations, including...

  • Engage with your fans - View and respond to the public comments on your posts, plus the private messages in your Inbox, all from a single dashboard.

  • Never miss a message - Every interaction has the potential to create a new fan. Postpone keeps track of unread conversations and notifies you when new conversations take place, that way you never miss an important message.

  • Reply quickly - Conversations supports over a dozen Keyboard Shortcuts so you can navigate with ease, or use Saved Replies to respond to similar questions and comments.

  • Hide users - Let's face it: not all commenters on social media are respectful. Postpone lets you Hide Users, which removes all of their conversations and ensures that new conversations from the user never appear in Postpone again.

  • Search and organization - Search all of your past public conversations, filter conversations that are unread, and archive conversations you don't need to respond to.

Supported Platforms

Conversations supports 6 social platforms at launch:

  • Reddit (comments and messages)

  • Instagram (comments and messages)

  • Threads (comments)

  • Bluesky (comments and messages)

  • Facebook Pages (comments)

  • YouTube (comments)

We plan to add support for additional platforms in the future, although we can only add support for platforms that provide the tools for us to integrate. For example, TikTok does not provide the tools we need to build a Comments Inbox at this time.

Getting Started

To get started with Conversations, head to Postpone and click on Conversations in the sidebar.

Postpone will indicate if any of your social accounts need to be re-connected before you can use Conversations, as we may require new account permissions that we did not previously have. If you need to re-connect your accounts then simply head to Settings > Connected Accounts in Postpone to get started. You will only need to re-connect your accounts once.

For security reasons, only account owners have access to Conversations by default. To grant your teammates access to Conversations:

  • Navigate to Settings > Team.

  • Click Manage Access for each teammate.

  • Provide access to either the Public Comments inboxes or the Private Messages inboxes.

Teammates will only be able to see the inboxes for Social Accounts they have access to.

Private by Design

Postpone takes your privacy seriously. With that in mind, private messages are never stored or logged on our servers, ensuring your sensitive conversations remain secure.

Can we still access the previous Reddit-only Inbox?

Yes! The previous Reddit-only Inbox and DM Automation are still available under Reddit Toolbox in the sidebar.

What's Next for Conversations?

Today's launch includes the initial version of Conversations. We plan to continue improving Conversations based on customer feedback, including:

  • The ability to view archived conversations and unarchive them.

  • Support for Facebook Pages (messages), LinkedIn (comments), and Mastodon (comments and messages).

  • Direct Message auto-responders.

  • Assign conversations to users.

  • Leave internal notes on conversations.

  • Star/flag conversations.

  • A daily or weekly digest of unread inboxes.

  • Attach media to public comment posts.

  • Social listening

  • Lots more!

We'd love to hear your feedback, so don't hesitate to email us feedback at hello@postpone.app, or start a new chat in the bottom-right corner of Postpone.

Until next time!
