New in Postpone: Smarter subreddit timing, a more capable MCP server, and more

Two big ones today: a rebuilt best time to post algorithm for subreddits, and an MCP server that can now handle much more of your workflow. Plus a long list of smaller improvements. Let's dive in.

A better best time to post for subreddits

Today's release rebuilds the algorithm that powers subreddit recommendations.

The old version could be thrown off by viral post that blew up. The new algorithm keeps those outliers from skewing the results, and it does a better job of spotting real patterns across days of the week and hours of the day.

The result is clearer recommendations. Instead of a noisy chart with a few random spikes, you'll see when a community is consistently active and engaged, so the best times to post are much easier to pick out.

The improved recommendations show up everywhere you pick a time, including the subreddit dropdowns in the post editor.

Your AI assistant can do a lot more with Postpone

The Postpone MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI assistants work with your Postpone account. Over the last few weeks, it's picked up a much bigger toolbox:

  • Official Claude Connector. Easily use Postpone in Claude by using our official Claude connector.

  • Recommended post times. Ask your assistant when to post and it pulls the best times for that account or subreddit directly from Postpone.

  • Add posts to your queue. Your assistant can drop posts into the next open slot in an account's schedule instead of picking a date and time for each one.

  • Account stats and post analytics. Ask how last week performed, which posts did best, or how your follower count is trending.

  • Pinterest support. Schedule and manage Pins from your AI assistant.

  • Latest MCP protocol support (2026-07-28), so the server keeps working smoothly with the newest clients.

We also added setup guides for Muse, Gemini, Mistral Vibe, and OpenClaw, so it's easier to connect Postpone no matter which assistant you use.

A prompt library for AI agents

Not sure what to ask? The new prompt library has ready-to-use prompts for common Postpone workflows, from filling a week of posts to reviewing your analytics. Copy one into your assistant and adjust it from there.

Notification posting got smarter

If a subreddit is banned, the notification posting screen now tells you before you try, and suggests other relevant subreddits to post to instead. You can also change your post title or jump straight to the subreddit without leaving the screen.
