We're kicking off 2026 with a bang, with huge improvements to help you write content and engage across your social media accounts.

Now, onto today's updates!

Postpone AI 2.0

Gone are the generic yellow sparkles. Replacing them is an all-new UI for Postpone's AI features, plus lots of great improvement to writing social content.

Create Posts from External Content

Postpone now supports creating posts and threads from external links, such as blog posts, announcements, and articles.

sWhen you add a link, Postpone will fetch the full linked content and use it when creating your posts.

Write Multi-Post Threads

Postpone now supports writing multi-post threads with Postpone AI. This pairs particularly well when writing social content from links.

Postpone supports several thread lengths, from 2 post threads all the way up to 12-post deep dives. Use the default Auto length to let Postpone AI decide the length based on context, or choose from options like Post + Link, Quick, Standard, or Deep Dive.

Want more control over our threads? Outline them first using Outline Thread. Postpone AI will write a thread outline so you can see how many posts will be created and what the structure of our thread will be. You can even make last minute adjustments by editing your outline, adding new items, or moving the outline around.

Edit Mode with 24 New Post Edits

Today's update includes an all new edit mode for making quick tweaks to your social media content. In total, there are now 24 new edits to perform on your content, such as:

  • Rewrite — Improve, format, expand, shorten, simplify, or proofread text on your posts.

  • Add — Add hooks, CTAs, questions, emojis, or relevant hashtags to your posts.

  • Tone — Adjust tone: make posts confident, friendly, softer, casual, formal, or spicier.

  • Translate — Translate posts to English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, or Japanese.

Improved UI

Postpone's AI features are much more enjoyable to use, with an improved loading UI, new colors and icons, and handy tips while posts are being written.

Other Improvements

Today's update includes several other great improvements.

  • Include body text on all Reddit post types, including link posts and image/video posts.

  • Paste images from your clipboard directly into posts on X, Threads, Bluesky, and Mastodon

  • Attach link images to posts on X, Threads, Bluesky, and Mastodon (using the new paperclip action).

  • Added the thread action bar to improve thread-wide actions for threaded platforms

  • Improved post preview for X so that it is more accurate

  • Improved flow for deleting media

    • Postpone now tells you the exact number of posts that use the media you are deleting, and provides a way to view those posts to make changes first.

  • Added support for exporting post analytics to CSV or JSON. Check out Analytics > Posts to get started.

  • Postpone now remembers your preferred thread numbering format

  • YouTube Shorts and Mastodon posts published from outside of Postpone are now fetched and included in analytics
